Description

This is a wine made for relaxed, simple, pleasure, we are confident that any rosé lover will enjoy this delight. It is a good rosé to serve with a meal. The fact that it comes from the Chateau Saint Roseline is a guarantee of the quality you will find in this bottle.

Eye - A wine of a tender pink colour with underlying raspberry and orange tones, as well as silvery reflections at the edge of the glass. This is a bright and charming rosé, clear and smoothly concentrated. It is easy to tell by looking at this wine that it is full of freshness.
Nose - On the nose this wine exudes a lot of finesse with a blend dominated by notes of red fruits: raspberries, cherries, strawberries, redcurrants?These flavours lead to a fresh and minerally with a light vivaciousness. A becoming wine without complexity.
Palate - In the mouth this wine is supple and smooth with flavours of ripe red fruits as on the nose. The structure of this wine is full of fresh notes of sweet apples. This gives the wine an easy to drink feel and is followed by an extra richness. This wine has a medium longevity in the mouth and a fruity finale. A refreshing, easy and tasty wine.

This wine would go well with seafood tapas, prawn salad, smoked salmon salad, prawn and avocado pasta, grilled white fish, taboulet, moussaka, quiche, smooth cheeses and goats' cheeses. This may be saved until 2012, the peak is now, serve at 10°.

Château Sainte Roseline is one of the best known estates in Côtes de Provence, for the quality of its wine but also for the fabulous setting: a château with 14th century origins, with works of art by Chagall, Bazaine, Ubac and Giocametti. Rumour has it that Ste Roseline is also buried in the church on the property. The domaine is classified as a Provence Cru Classé and since 1994 there has been major investment in the winery, including the consultation of world famous winemaker Michel Rolland.
