Description
A powerful and warm vintage year. It offers an exceptional balance between the fruitiness of the Syrah and the minerality of this big schist terroir, without any of the over-ripeness that the 2003 vintage year tended to have.
Eye

Pale gold with a fine stream of bubbles.
Nose

A delicate, yeasty nose with notes of warm brioche, dominated by fruity Pinot Noir.
Palate

Dry and fresh with exquisite creamy, vanilla, toasted flavours. Full in body, rich and round and with a long, lingering finish.
Lobster
The 'Spécial Cuvée' is the purest example of the Bollinger style. All of the house's expertise are demonstrated in their capacity to recreate a blend consistent in both style and quality each year. A lovely bouquet of flavours, a unique combination of body and balance, good alcoholic strength and a beautiful finesse are Bollinger's trademark characteristics.
